In order to use the integral drill correctly and ensure the normal service life of the integral drill, the following points must be paid attention to:

1. Choose an integral drill according to the rock conditions: if the rock is hard, abrasive, and easy to drill, you can choose a cross type or a spherical tooth type; if the rock is soft and the drill will not stick, you can choose a straight type;

2. Be steady when opening the hole, lower the air volume, and work at normal air volume after 150mm of footage. Otherwise, it will easily cause the local carbide on the head to be overloaded and cause damage;

3. When the drilling depth is ≥ 2000mm, use set drilling operation, open the hole with a short drill, and continue to extend the drilling with a long drill to increase the service life of the overall drill;

4. When the flake alloy cutting edge has a platform ≥3mm wide, stop grinding in time; when the ball tooth alloy wear is serious, grinding should be stopped; when the head appears inverted taper, grinding should be stopped. Eliminate the inverse taper, otherwise, the alloy will be seriously worn and the drill may even get stuck;

5. Adjust the working air pressure according to the rock conditions, with normal rotation, fast footage, no bending of the drill rod, and normal powder discharge as the standard;

6. When early failure occurs, please notify our company in writing in time. The content of the notice mainly includes:

1).The rock drill model used and the actual working wind pressure;
2).Type and hardness of rock, construction location (open air, underground, other), drilling depth;
3).planned service life; Sino-US Rock Drilling Materials Co., Ltd.
4).average normal service life;
5).the average service life of other manufacturers;
6).Early failure statistics:

A. Failure location, life span, quantity;

B. Carbide wear condition (residual height).
